The Heaven Score — one honest number for how well you lived today.
Zero to one hundred. Five inputs: sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, recovery. Updated daily by Luna inside Heaven Health. Free, private, and built to be read in two seconds.
The idea, in one paragraph
Most health apps drown you in dashboards. Steps here, HRV there, calories somewhere else, sleep stages on a fourth screen. By the time you have read all of them, the day is half gone and you still do not know whether yesterday was good for your body. The Heaven Score collapses the five things that actually matter into a single number you can read in the time it takes to swipe up. It is not the only number Heaven Health tracks — but it is the one you should read first.
The five inputs
The Heaven Score is calculated from five domains, each scored from 0 to 100, then weighted into the final number. Each input has a clear meaning and a clear lever you can pull tomorrow.
Sleep
Duration and quality. From your wearable if you wear one, from your morning check-in if you don't. Coffee timing, bedroom temperature, and screen exposure feed in if you log them.
Stress
Heart-rate variability plus your self-reported state from the morning ritual. Higher HRV plus a calmer self-report lifts the score; flat HRV and a tense report drops it.
Nutrition
What you ate, when, and what your last bloodwork said your body needed more of. No calorie counting — Luna scores quality, timing and bloodwork alignment.
Movement
Steps, active minutes, training load. Weighted toward zone-2 cardio and resistance for the longevity-focused. Tuned to your goal — endurance, strength, mobility, or recovery.
Recovery
HRV trend, resting heart rate, time off feet, and how your body answered the morning ritual. The brake on the other four — pushing hard with no recovery does not raise the score.
The five are weighted intelligently. If your goal is endurance, movement and recovery carry more. If your goal is longevity and you have just uploaded bloodwork showing inflammation, nutrition and recovery shift up. Luna does not show you the weights as numbers because dashboards-on-dashboards is the trap we are trying to avoid — but you can read the breakdown for any day in the Heaven Score detail screen.
How to read your score
Three things to know:
- The trend, not the day. A single number out of context lies. A two-week curve is honest. A four-week curve is the truth.
- The arrow matters more than the value. A 72 climbing is healthier than an 88 falling.
- You do not need a 100. Heaven Health's design target is "you in the 80s, calmly, sustainably, for years." Chasing 100s is the wellness trap.
What moves the Heaven Score (the boring honest answer)
The biggest single lever, in our research-pipeline data and in the literature: sleep. Get seven and a half hours, in a cool room, away from screens for the last hour, on a consistent schedule, and three of the five inputs improve together. Next biggest: zone-2 cardio three times a week. Then: protein at every meal. Then: at least one twelve-hour overnight fast a week. Then: connection — a friend, a walk, a conversation. None of these are exciting. All of them work.
Luna will tell you the one to focus on this week, not all five at once. That focus is half the reason the score works.
The Heaven Score is a wellness tracking signal, not a clinical assessment. It does not diagnose, treat, prescribe or cure any medical condition. If you have health concerns — chest pain, persistent fatigue, mood changes that worry you — see a licensed clinician. The score will be here when you come back.
How the Heaven Score is different
You have probably seen other scores. Whoop has Recovery and Strain. Oura has Readiness, Sleep and Activity. WHOOP and Oura also publish their newer Cardiovascular Age numbers. HUMANITY shows pace of aging. Apple has the rings. We respect every one of them. They each do one thing well. The Heaven Score does a different thing.
vs Whoop Recovery
Whoop Recovery is one domain — recovery — calculated brilliantly from HRV, sleep and resting heart rate. The Heaven Score includes recovery as one of five inputs. Whoop tells you whether you can train hard today; the Heaven Score tells you how well you lived overall yesterday. They complement each other — many Heaven Health users wear Whoop and the data feeds in cleanly.
vs Oura Readiness
Oura Readiness is similar in spirit — a single composite — but weighted heavily toward sleep and recovery and computed from the ring's measurements. The Heaven Score includes nutrition and stress inputs Oura cannot see, plus the morning ritual you tell Luna directly. If you wear Oura, the score becomes more accurate.
vs HUMANITY's aging score
HUMANITY's daily score is about pace of biological aging — are your behaviours making you age faster or slower than the calendar. That is a real and useful question and we admire the work HUMANITY has done on it. The Heaven Score answers a different question — how well did you live today across five domains — and we track biological age separately, on its own page. The two are complementary; they are not the same number with different names.
vs Apple Rings
The Apple Rings score three things: Move, Exercise, Stand. The Heaven Score includes movement but adds sleep, nutrition, stress and recovery. The Rings are excellent at making you move; the Heaven Score is about the whole day.
Why "Heaven"
Heaven Health, the company, was named for the feeling we want users to have at the end of a good day — light, recovered, looking forward to tomorrow. The Heaven Score is the daily proxy for that feeling. It is a brand term, capitalised, defined precisely, and owned by Heaven Eco Hub. You will not find it anywhere else.
Where to see your score
Three places inside the Heaven Health app:
- Home screen. The big number at the top. The arrow next to it shows direction since yesterday.
- Heaven Score detail. Tap the number for the five-domain breakdown, the 30-day curve and Luna's reading of what is driving the trend.
- Weekly report. Sunday morning, in a sentence: "Your Heaven Score climbed three points this week — sleep is doing the work."
The Heaven Score over time
The interesting numbers start at week four. The first weeks are calibration — Luna learns your baseline, your goals, your data sources. By week four the trend is honest. By month three the seasonal patterns appear — your score in summer versus winter, your score during travel weeks, your score around your menstrual cycle if you track it. Year-over-year comparisons are where the real story lives, and that is the view we have been quietly building since the app launched.
Privacy
Your Heaven Score is private to you. It is calculated on your data, stored encrypted, and never sold. It is not shown in any leaderboard. It is not shared with advertisers. You can export it for your doctor or delete it from inside the app in two taps.
Heaven Score FAQ
What is a good Heaven Score?
There is no universal "good." Eighties is excellent. Seventies with a rising trend is excellent. The most important read is direction over a fortnight, not absolute value on a Tuesday. Luna will tell you whether your trend is healthy.
How is the Heaven Score calculated?
Five inputs (sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, recovery), each scored 0-100, then weighted to your goals and combined. The weights shift if you change goals, upload new bloodwork, or tell Luna your priorities are changing.
Do I need a wearable?
No. With no wearable, Luna estimates the score from your morning ritual and any data your phone collects automatically. With a wearable (Apple Watch, Oura, Whoop, Garmin via Health Connect), the score is more accurate.
Why does my score sometimes drop on a "good" day?
Because the body is more honest than the calendar. A day you felt productive but slept five hours, drank three coffees and skipped lunch is not a day your body experienced as good. The Heaven Score reflects what your biology saw, not what your calendar saw.
How is this different from the HUMANITY app's score?
HUMANITY answers "is my biological aging accelerating or slowing." The Heaven Score answers "how well did I live across five domains today." We track aging separately on the biological age page. Both are useful, neither replaces the other.
Can the Heaven Score replace my doctor's assessment?
No. The score is a wellness signal. It is not diagnostic. If anything in your body worries you, see a licensed clinician. Luna can produce a doctor-ready PDF report of your data on request.
